Did you know that this week marks our FIFTH BIRTHDAY??
Where did the time go??
In order to celebrate, we thought we would count down the top 5 #VonMackMoments that really stand out to us as an agency.
Without further ado, let’s kick things off with one of our most ambitious projects to date.
#VonMackMoment Number 5) The Tourism Reels Challenge.
In August of 2021, in order to stay on top of current trends in social media, we launched our twist on the 30-Day Reel Challenge.
The Tourism Reels Challenge required us to plan, film, edit, and post a brand-new Instagram Reel every day.
Did we mention that it was also a competition where we invited the industry to get involved and learn new tricks alongside us?
Did we ALSO mention a hurricane just so happened to stop by in the middle of our challenge?
This is a notable #VonMackMoment because it was a culmination of things we pride ourselves in at our agency.
- We find new trends.
- We dive in head first, even if it’s scary.
- We don’t let anything stop us or get in our way.
- We give back to our community and invite others to as well.
- We have fun!
The challenge put the hashtag #tourismreelschallenge on the map with over 100 uses and increased our participants’ engagement immensely… the winner of the challenge had over a 1500% increase!

#VonMackMoment Number 4) Selling out the Miss USA Pageant.
Our next #VonMackMoment brings us back to 2018 when we worked on the Miss USA campaigns with the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau.
Our collaborative digital marketing campaigns strategically sold out the event the entire day before, and the campaign generated 80,929 results with an average $0.02 USD cost per result!
This is a notable #VonMackMoment because it was one of our first!
#VonMackMoment Number 3) Expanding into our Oak Street Office.
Moving into our office on Oak Street was a #VonMackMoment that feels a little extra special.
This day in November 2020 was a physical representation of all of our hard work and expansion, which was a HUGE deal for us considering it was at the height of COVID.
It also didn’t hurt that it was absolutely gorgeous and gave us lots of room to put our creative skills to play.
#VonMackMoment Number 2) Going up, out, and Nationwide with Motor Coach Family!
It started in Louisiana.
Then it went to the West.
Then it went to the East.
And now we’re all a part of the #MotorCoachFamily.
Working with The Motor Coach Family of Brands to develop brand identities, curate print elements for trade shows, and amplify their voice on social media has been the most rewarding whirlwind.
We can not wait to see how else this amazing brand grows, and where they will go next. #MotorCoachSpace? #MotorCoachWorld? It’s only up from here.
This is a notable #VonMackMoment because we absolutely THRIVE at alongside our clients.
Success stories like this are what it’s all about.
#VonMackMoment Number 1) Bringing the industry together with #TourismStrong.
2020 was a year that none of us will forget, for many reasons.
One of those reasons for us was our Tourism Strong Project.
Our goal was to provide a space for the tourism industry to come together and provide inspiration for one another, and it took off beyond what we could have imagined.
The viral spread of our #TourismStrong frame brought our community together, and our #TourismAF pins were the cherry on top. We mailed out hundreds of these babies to keep sentiment high throughout the industry.
You may have also seen the Facebook frame, which was used over 650,000 times worldwide.
There was video series and even a podcast, which gets new listeners to this day.
This was a notable #VonMackMoment because bringing our amazing industry together is a feeling unlike any other. We worked through hard times, wished for better ones, and now look at us! The Tourism Industry just can’t be beaten.
