Since late 2024, The Von Mack Agency has proudly partnered with The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement to promote Na Lei Aloha, a spectacular luau experience rooted in authentic Hawaiian culture. Our collaboration has encompassed a full-scale marketing approach, including consulting, media planning, foundation setting, search engine optimization, social media optimization (including influencer management), Google Ads campaigns, and social media campaigns. They’ve all been executed with precision and great success!!
From the start, our mission was to amplify the reach of Na Lei Aloha, drive high-quality bookings, and ensure the show’s marketing presence reflects its authenticity and cultural richness. Through data-driven strategies, high-impact content, and a keen understanding of audience behavior, we’ve built a solid foundation that continues to grow.
The results thus far have been a much stronger brand footprint, an expanded digital base, increased methodology for influencer management and scouting, and exceptional ROAS out of the gate.


GOOGLE ADS PERFORMANCE FAR SURPASSES INDUSTRY STANDARDS FROM DAY 1
A key component of our work has been the Google Ads strategy, which has far exceeded industry benchmarks in both return on ad spend (ROAS) and revenue growth.
Our main thematic strategy was to drive maximum performance by combining hyperlocal targeting, intent-driven campaigns, and retargeting to capture in-destination and pre-arrival bookings.
To achieve this, we built a highly granular Google Ads framework, focusing on Waikiki-based travelers while simultaneously reaching potential visitors in top feeder cities before they even arrived in Hawaii – being sure to create a keen funnel-flow and feed top of funnel with as high intent as possible.
Using data from Google Analytics, we developed detailed buyer personas and layered in travel intent targeting to refine our approach. We also launched a highly targeted display campaign that blended eye-catching creative with geographic precision.
The results speak for themselves:
- Month 1 ROAS : 14.89x (272.25% above goal)
- 2.5 Month ROAS: 18.75x (87.5% above goal)
- 2.5 Month Revenue from Google Ads increased by 127.34% (154.68% above goal)
- 2.5 Month Cost Per Purchase reduced to $24.15 (down from over $1,500 prior to our management)
By aligning the campaign structure with real traveler behavior, we’ve been able to drive high-intent bookings at a fraction of the previous cost. The combination of hyperlocal targeting, pre-arrival engagement, and strong creative assets has made this campaign a massive success, solidifying Na Lei Aloha as a must-experience luau for visitors to Oahu, with so much more to come.
